Receiving Email:

Yes, you may still receive email from your existing provider even when you are connected to Kwik Net. Just try clearing your email while you are connected to Kwik Net. You should find it will work ok.

Sending Email:

In the case where your existing provider restricts the use of their SMTP servers to hosts outside their network you can use the Kwik Net SMTP server at smtp.kwik.net.nz. This will allow you to send outgoing emails while "poping" your mail off your existing provider. Simply replace your existing providers smtp server setting with smtp.kwik.net.nz to send emails while connected to Kwik Net.
