Instructions for manually connecting to Kwik Net using the Windows 95/98/NT4 Dial Up Networking Wizard.
kwiknet supports connections on phone number 087304594.To configure your Windows 95/98 connection to dial this number please follow the following step by step instructions below.
Please note: You can follow these instructions and create the new Dial Up Networking connection while you are still connected.
First Double Click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Next double click on the Dial Up Networking folder.
Now Double click on Make New Connection. The Connection Wizard will start.
Type in the name for the new connection. We suggest using kwiknet.
Next select the modem you will be using. In most cases this will be the only modem installed on your system.
Click Next
Select your area code which will be 9 for Auckland, 4 for Wellington and 3 for Christchurch
Now enter the telephone number you will be calling. 087304594
Select the country code which is New Zealand (64)
Click Next
Click Finish to complete the Wizard setup.
You should now have a new icon in your Dial-Up Networking folder called kwiknet. Double click this icon to start the Dialer window. You will need to enter your username and password in this screen
